CENTENNIAL GARDENS

Centennial Gardens is located along Highway 14, north of the Elgin Public Library. The park features a shaded pavilion, beautiful landscape and a unique monument titled "Prairie Fire" by Herb Mignery.

BELLS OF THE PRAIRIE

 

Jim Meis is a true hobbyist. Meis's interest in bells began at a young age.

 

His collection features a variety of bells spanning decades and geographical locations: church bells, farm dinner bells, fire bells and one-room school house bells are arranged in his yard directly off of Highway 14.
